Women Olympic Football Asian Pakistan Qualifiers Group 2024. The Pakistan women’s football team has been drawn along with Hong Kong, the Philippines and Tajikistan in Group E of the first round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
The Women in Green must finish as group winners to advance to the second round of qualifiers, where they will join the five highest-ranked teams, South Korea, China, Australia, Japan and North Korea. Only two teams from Asia will qualify for next year’s mega event.

The first round of Asian qualifiers will be played at a venue between 3 and 11 April, with each team from the group facing each other once.

The venue of the qualifiers is yet to be announced. Pakistan’s arch-rivals, India, have been drawn in Group G alongside Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, as they bid for a place in the second round of the qualifiers.
The Pakistan women’s football team is currently participating in the four-nation tournament in Saudi Arabia, where they won their first match against Comoros 1-0. They will face Mauritius on January 15 and Saudi Arabia on January 19 as they look to win the tournament.

The Green Shirts recently returned to international football after an 8-year hiatus as they competed in the Saf Women’s Championship. While Pakistan lost their opening two matches, they finished the tournament on a high note with a 7-0 thrashing of the Maldives.
