Punjab Youngsters Free IT Training Announces. Chief Minister Punjab has announced that free online IT training will be given to 1 million youth to help them become self-reliant.

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Malaysian company Re-Skills for online knowledge acquisition.

Under the MoU, the youth will get free online IT training. The Chief Minister said that lakhs of self-employment opportunities will be created through these training courses. This training will be provided free of cost to youth aged 16 to 30 years.

The Malaysian company will provide a technical grant of $12 million to the Punjab government for training. The Chief Minister added that the youth will have access to premium learning accounts for one year and the government will provide all necessary facilities to local and international technology companies to support the training program.

Free IT Training for 1 Million Youth in Punjab

The training will be delivered through a digital platform and can be easily accessed by youth with smartphones. Chief Minister Punjab has announced giving free IT training to around 1 million young students in the province.
