Insaf Taleem Card Launched for Deserving KP Students. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Council of Ministers, led by Prime Minister Mehmood Khan, has announced the launch of the Fair Education Card for the 2022-23 fiscal year.

The district administration was authorized to release an amount of Rs. 998.5 million for this concept. The initiative aims to help students enrolled in public universities who are facing financial difficulties with annual or semester fees.

Speaking to the Cabinet, the Prime Minister stated that the introduction of this initiative is aimed at providing free educational opportunities for students studying in government institutions. Mr. Kamran Bangash, Minister of Higher Education and Special Assistant for Media, Muhammad Ali Saif, announced the introduction of the Insaf Education Card as the second largest government program since the Insaf Suhat Suhailat Card as it will help a large number of students.

In addition, the ministers revealed that the Cabinet has approved a reassessment of the forest tax on various forest assets to meet revenue growth targets and improve the market price of timber. Retired Prof. Dr. Syed Subhanullah Shah has been appointed for a three-year term as a Technical Member (BS-21) of the Peshawar Environmental Protection Tribunal.
