HEC Halted Isra University Admission. The Islamabad Higher Education Commission (HEC) has halted admission in all disciplines of Isra University of Hyderabad and its sub-campuses in Islamabad and Karachi.
HEC has issued an alert to students in this regard and advises students not to apply for admission to any programs offered by the University of Isra at its main campus in Hyderabad, as well as in Islamabad and Karachi.

The alert also mentions that the same applies to all medicine-related disciplines offered by the university through the medical school or any other affiliated or constituent faculty.
Admission to the University of Isra stops as of the Fall 2022 session. HEC will not recognize the degrees of students who enroll in any of the programs offered by the university, including Fall 2022 MBBS and BDS.

However, it is pertinent to mention here that admissions to the University are stopped and the university is not declared illegal, therefore, admission can be resumed after some time when the university meets the HEC requirements.

Any university that is not included in the list of HEC-recognized institutes should be treated as fake, illegal, and not recognized by the watchdog.
