Flat USEFP Scholarships Teachers in the USA 2023. The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) offers the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant FLTA program for English language teachers in Pakistan to hone their skills and improve their English language skills.
FLTA is a nine-month course. FLTA will teach Urdu or Pashto at American colleges or universities. This is a fully funded program. The program will begin in the fall of 2024.
Flat USEFP Teachers Scholarships in USA 2023
Fulbright FLTA participants may assist in language classes for up to 20 hours per week and are required to enrol in at least 2 courses per semester, one of which must be in US Studies. The rest of the coursework should be relevant to their career in English language teaching.

How to apply for the FLTA Fulbright programs
A complete application package, also including academic transcripts detail, and then letters of reference must be submitted online by the application submission due to the last date of the deadline. This is an online application.
Paper copies will not be accepted. The deadline to apply for the Fulbright FLTA 2022 is 08 March 2023.
Women, persons with disabilities, and persons from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (FATA), Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, North Sindh and South Punjab are highly encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Criteria Fulbright FLTA
- Citizens of All of Pakistan with an effective Pakistani passport.
- Resident in Pakistan during the nomination and selection process.
- Be a young, early career educator.
- At least 16 years of formal education.
- Become a teacher of English language or related field at the college or university level.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
